Retreat begins with dinner on Wednesday and concludes with breakfast, packing, and (tearful) goodbyes Sunday morning. Our location this year is a gorgeous 7 bedroom, 5 bath lodge in Dahlonega, Georgia! There is limited space, so get your registration completed as soon as possible! A $100 deposit will secure your spot for 30 days, but your final payment must be in by the dates listed above to lock in that registration cost.

All Cinnamon Waffles (QCF members born between 1987 and 1991) are encouraged to attend the retreat. Additionally, Waffles may bring a non-waffle guest, such as a significant other, but everyone must register for the retreat individually.

Your registration includes lodging, food, all activities, and transportation to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Payment forms accepted are:
- Venmo
- Google Wallet
- Square Cash
- Facebook Pay

PayPal will only be accepted for Waffles outside the USA. A $100 deposit will secure your space for 30 days. If payment in full is not made within 30 days, your registration space will no longer be reserved. The full registration cost is based on either the Early Bird, Regular, or Late Registration rates. Dates for these are found above.

If you pay a deposit and registration fills before your balance is paid, your deposit will be returned. All other payments are non-refundable. All payments due July 12.

Each day starts off with a delicious breakfast prepared by one of the retreat teams, followed by a morning devotion and small group time. The afternoons are devoted to fun activities including games, hikes, and team competitions. Dinner is followed by evening worship and small group discussion. Nights are free time used for board games, movies, random dance parties, and more! The schedule also includes large portions of free time to relax and build relationships with fellow waffles. See an example of the 2018 Retreat Schedule here.

- Bible, pen, and journal for devotional times
- Clothes for cold and warm weather
- Swimming clothes
- Hiking clothes for the mountains
- Card/board games for free time
- Tooth brush, other toiletries
- And most importantly, your beautiful face!

We will be staying in a large vacation home for the duration of the retreat where you are likely to be sharing sleeping quarters with other waffles. There is a mix of full, queen, and king beds in the bedrooms at the lodge. In other words, make sure you come to retreat prepared to get your cuddle on! (Or not; if you're uncomfortable with this, we'll make it work!)

If you are local to the retreat location you can just drive there! If you are flying through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the planning committee will be scheduling pick-up times on Wednesday and drop-off times on Sunday. This is included in the cost of registration.

The average high for Dahlonega, GA on our week is 87°F,
and the average low is 62°F, making for warm days and cool nights. Precipitation in the month of July averages about 5.1 inches, spread evenly thoughout the month.

Yes, however alcohol is not included in your retreat meal plan, i.e., if you want it, you have to bring it. If you are flying to retreat, your ground transport can stop at the store on the way to the lodge. We ask that you refrain from intoxication at devotion and small group time and remind you to please drink responsibly.

Due to the legal status of cannabis use in Georgia, it will not be permitted at the 2019 Retreat.

Yes, there are a limited number of driver rebates of $75 for those who agree to give rides to and from the airport on Wednesday and Sunday. To be eligible for this rebate you must be able to transport a minimum of three passengers (NOT including the driver) and their luggage to the retreat location on Wednesday and from the retreat location on Sunday. You will be contacted by retreat planners if selected as a driver. Drivers must submit proof of current valid auto liability insurance and driver's license.

Your registration covers transportation to and from the airport for those who are flying into Atlanta, lodging, food, and all official retreat activities. Make sure you have enough spending money for any meals during your travel times, as well any extra food or drinks you want to bring. We do not anticipate leaving the lodge during retreat, but the retreat schedule will include large blocks of free time where you may wish to have extra spending money for snacks, souvenirs, or anything else.

If you pay a deposit and registration fills before your balance is paid, your deposit will be returned. All other payments are non-refundable. If you pay for some or all of the registration price but are unable to attend, you may transfer the credit to someone else who would like to attend.

We consider geographical region when we are choosing a Retreat location and we do our best to make sure we move around and visit close to everyone. Unfortunately, lodging price and distance from major airports are also major factors in our decision making, and sometimes we have to pass up otherwise attractive locations due to one or more of those factors. Suffice it to say, we've certainly thought of coming to a location near you! But logistical factors ultimately have the main bearing on our decision every year.

Good question! Meet the planning team here!
